Brett Zitny, P.E.

Brett is the President of Prairie Land Professional Services. With over a decade of experience in specialty design-build geotechnical applications, his practice areas include the design and construction of ground improvement systems, soil stabilization and grouting systems, earth retention, and deep foundation systems.

As a geotechnical engineer with a diverse background in construction, Brett’s skill sets provide a unique perspective and value to both firm and clients. His technical knowledge and ability to identify practical solutions are valuable on every project, especially when evaluating constructability and directing critical design information early during the project lifecycle. He strives to lead and aid clients with a sensible approach to geotechnical engineering which proactively manages risk and guides projects to successful completion.

Nick Scapellato, P.E.

Nick is a Project Engineer at Prairie Land Professional Services, providing engineering design for specialty geotechnical solutions. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University in 2020. Before joining Prairie Land, Nick spent several years working across the United States for specialty geotechnical contractors, gaining hands-on field and operational experience that gives him firsthand insight into the means and methods behind the designs he now produces.

That blend of field and design exposure shapes how Nick approaches his work. Having seen a wide array of geotechnical techniques from the construction side, he designs with constructability in mind from the start, working to deliver solutions that are not only technically sound but practical to build in the field.
